Our Team
Dr. Diana Hu
Licensed Psychologist, Founder
My clients learn to challenge their fears, experience and accept their feelings, gain a stronger understanding of self, and navigate relationship differences between partners, parents, or managers.
I integrate therapy styles so I can fully appreciate clients’ unique contexts. I want clients to work towards and build their lives as they want to see it. My role is to guide, reflect, and question clients so that they are empowered to make change.
My highest priority is to show up to my clients as a human. I reflect where my clients are at, use humor to lighten the mood, and make no false promises to be better than any other.
You’ll also find me watching the latest historical drama, baking, or playing board games with friends.
Dr. Faraha Hasan
Counseling Psychologist, Post-doctoral Fellow
I work with adult clients facing depression, anxiety, life transitions, interpersonal difficulties, ADHD, family-of-origin issues, multicultural concerns, and identity-based stress and trauma. My specialties include working with young adults, adult children of immigrants, South Asians, and Muslims.
My first goal with you is to build a foundation of trust and comfort. I believe a person’s cultural context impacts their presenting concerns and treatment, and I aim to affirm your personal identities and experiences. My therapeutic approach also involves validating the systems and circumstances that prevent us from living fulfilling lives.
I take a relational approach, drawing heavily from multicultural and feminist frameworks to create a space that aligns with your needs and goals.
