About Individual Therapy:
-
You’ll find a contact form at the bottom of this page. Let us know you’re ready to get started! Once you submit your form, we’ll email you within a day or two.
We’ll start with a complimentary 20-minute phone consultation before scheduling to ensure fit and go over any questions you might have about working together.
-
We have a standard 48 hour/2 day cancellation policy for therapy appointments, and any missed therapy appointment or late cancellation will be charged the full appointment amount.
Please be aware that insurances will not cover missed appointment or late cancellation fees. -
The first session will start off with a review of some policies, and getting oriented to you and what’s bringing you into therapy. While there is a lot of important information to gather, you can expect it to still feel conversational, like you’re filling in a very inquisitive friend rather than a spotlight interview.
Sometimes we can build that understanding really easily and start working on where you want to go. Sometimes it can take a couple sessions to get a good grasp of the situation and contributing factors. Either way, we’ll share what we’re thinking as we go and invite your feedback!
-
What we know about therapy is that it’s most effective when done on a weekly or bi-weekly basis to begin. We can discuss what an appointment plan looks like in our consultation call or first appointment.
-
While progress is tied to your individual goals, the short answer is that you’ll feel better. Typically, clients start to feel more capable, whether that’s in managing their emotions, stressors, or relationships. As this happens, clients tend to naturally have less they need to talk about in therapy.
We check in regularly on how you’re feeling with therapy, and start to talk about decreasing frequency or potentially ending when we notice improvement that is holding steady.
About ADHD or ASD Assessment:
-
We’re glad you’re here! There’s a lot of helpful and misleading information about autism, ADHD and neurodivergence on social media. While videos, articles, or AI can be helpful in flagging something that’s potentially going on, they can also oversimplify, exaggerate, or simply be wrong.
A comprehensive assessment with a neurodivergent-affirming psychologist (like us!) is the best way to get answers to what is or isn’t happening. We want to know what resonated with you in what you saw or read, so we can provide clarity on what may be contributing to your experience, and provide tailored recommendations for what to do about it.
-
A psychological assessment and evaluation typically takes about 6-8 weeks to complete. Sometimes that can be a shorter or longer duration, depending on the complexity of the case and how quickly forms and other information are submitted.
First, we start with a complimentary phone consultation to ensure fit and go over any questions you might have about working together. From there, we’ll ask you to complete some initial intake forms and questionnaires to gather more information about your history, experiences, and symptoms. Then we’ll schedule a 3-hour virtual intake appointment to really get into your medical, mental health, family, school, work, and social history. Next, we’ll schedule a 4-hour in-person appointment with activities meant to understand your brain’s strengths and struggles.
Sometimes we’ll chat with a trusted friend or relative you’ve named during intake who knew you well as a child and as an adult to add their valuable perspective. Finally, we’ll have an hour-long virtual feedback appointment to review results, along with any diagnoses or recommendations. You’ll receive a finalized report shortly after your feedback session.
-
Our standard rate for assessment-related services is $200/hour.
This includes face-to-face appointment time, as well as time required for scoring, interpretation of data, and report-writing. The total cost varies depending on the number of measures administered, the complexity of the case, and the time required to complete reporting.
A $500 deposit is required to initiate the testing process, which begins with an intake appointment.
Your insurance may cover psychological testing and evaluation, even if we are an out-of-network provider.
All payments are handled through our online client portal, and we accept all major credit & debit cards, including HSA (Health Savings Account) & FSA (Flexible Spending Account) cards. -
We have a 5 day cancellation policy for assessment appointments, and any missed assessment appointment or late cancellation will be charged the full appointment amount.
Please be aware that insurances will not cover missed appointment or late cancellation fees.
Still Have Questions?
-
We are humans first, clinicians second. We prioritize warmth and connection over analysis or skills. Being able to have a trusting and open therapeutic relationship means that we get a better understanding of you, so we can really tailor your interventions and suggestions.
We want you to be comfortable in sessions to show up exactly as yourself.

In a nutshell, we specialize in helping adults who feel a lot of pressure (internally, at work, in relationships, maybe all of the above) get some relief.
There are many different ways this pressure can look and present, such as anxiety, depression, or perfectionism. It can also be caused by factors such as family-of-origin conflict, cultural differences, trauma, ADHD, or other forms of neurodivergence.
Regardless of what’s going on, we want to dive in to understand, and help you release the pressure.
-
Yes! We follow all federal HIPAA laws and Washington State guidelines for protecting information. We don’t share identifying information about you to third parties without your consent and your data is stored securely.
For online telehealth sessions, we use a HIPAA-compliant version of Google Meet, and we don’t use any AI software to record sessions.
-
No, we have chosen to contract with health insurances to make our services more accessible and affordable. If we are out-of-network with your insurance, we can either bill your insurance directly for out-of-network benefits, or provide you with monthly superbill invoices.
-
Unfortunately, no. We specialize in providing individual therapy and assessment services only.
When we feel clients may benefit from medication, we’re happy to provide outside referrals to psychiatrists or psychiatric nurse practitioners, and we like to collaborate with the provider to make sure we’re all on the same page about the client’s care.
