Our Team of Psychologists and Helpers
Dr. Faraha Hasan
Licensed Psychologist, Post-doctoral Fellow
My clients often comment on my flexibility and adaptability to match their needs. The way I strive to be with clients is to show you that I believe in you. I believe the possibility of change is always there, and I always hold out hope for you, even when you have none. I work to create a safe and warm space for therapy sessions. I work from a relational lens, believing that our therapeutic relationship leads to healing and that working on your relationships outside therapy will also contribute to healing.
My style focuses on understanding how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are interconnected and work to change patterns that may hold you back. Drawing from these approaches, we look at your role and relationships as parts of overarching societal structures and often call attention to how systemic issues contribute to our psychological difficulties.
As a Pakistani Muslim American woman and daughter of immigrant parents, I have experienced first-hand the complexities of navigating multiple cultural identities. These experiences inform my approach, ensuring that our work together respects and acknowledges your unique background and the oppressive structures that impact our well-being.
Dr. Diana Hu
Licensed Psychologist, Founder
My clients learn to challenge their fears, experience and accept their feelings, gain a stronger understanding of self, and navigate relationship differences between partners, parents, or managers.
I integrate therapy styles so I can fully appreciate clients’ unique contexts. I want clients to work towards and build their lives as they want to see it. My role is to guide, reflect, and question clients so that they are empowered to make change.
My highest priority is to show up to my clients as a human. I reflect where my clients are at, use humor to lighten the mood, and make no false promises to be better than any other.
You’ll also find me watching the latest historical drama, baking, or playing board games with friends.
